The
National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT) - Japan Society
for the Promotion of Science, JSPS) |
Purpose |
1. The
NRCT provides the grant to Thai scientists who propose research
projects cooperatively conducted with Japanese scientists.
2.The proposed research projects must be in accordance with research
areas or cooperative research project topics of the Program\'s
technical disciplines emphasized in that year. Applicants must
contact Japanese scientists who will cooperatively conduct the
research before proposing the research project for the grant.
3. The grant is provided for research conducted in Thailand only.
However, the JSPS, under the Exchange of Scientists Program provides
fund for expenses such as stipend, travel expense and accommodation
for Thai scientists who conduct parts of research work in Japan
and Japanese scientists who come to conduct the cooperative research
in Thailand. |

Condition |
Applicants
must :
1. be knowledgeable and capable researchers in the fields of the
proposed research projects with responsibility to conduct research
by themselves throughout the granted period;
2. be approved and certified by supervisors of the Department
level or the equivalent;
3. have submitted the research report to the NRCT if the applicants
used to be granted with the NRCT Research Grant and the research
duration was complete; and
4. not receive any type of the NRCT Research Grant at the time
of the application. |
Budget |
| The
amount of the grant is not over 1,500,000 baht with the duration
of not over three years for one research project. |
